I believe Juuken is a girl.
They don't deserve to have their console die on them when they are enjoying their most anticipated game.
On that note, if you bought your 360 during launch, your warranty will be expiring soon. So you might want to buy a new 360 or a Ps3 if you don't want risk RROD when FFXIII.
P.S. No fanboyism intended, just a little warning for my fellow gamers.
Three games in the FFXIII series
FFXIII- PS3 and 360
FFXVIII-Ps3 only (for now- you never know; Microsoft has deep pockets)
FFXIII Agito- Mobile game
Two of those on the PS3: one exclusive and one multiplatform
One on the 360.
The other one is on mobile phones.
The game is a least two years off. By then, this won't be much of a shock anymore. If the game was releasing (For 360 I mean) next year, the damage would be much substantial.
The only damage is psychological and I don't think that the damage will materialize in the short term.
Microsoft will still pay for another FF in order to hurt sony. They are not doing this to profit in the short term, they are doing this to hurt Sony. There is no way they'll recoup the money they gave SE from FFXIII sales. They are also letting fanboys doing their work for them. By stealing FFXIII, they have given 360 fanboys ammunition to launch a more effective negative campaign against Sony.
Patience is a virtue. The 360 didn't get its best games in its first year. Gears came out I year later.
Halo, Bioshock and Mass Effect almost 2 years later.
At Noobz, you're ignorance is very amusing
The PS3 is winning in Japan, tied in Europe (and winning monthly), and a few million behind in NA (the lead is dwindling) by 2010 the 360's lead would have disappeared. You know this is true but if you choose to live in ignorance in your fantasy fanboy world so be i...
Which means around the heart or surrounding the heart.
Ontopic
360 version won't suck but probably won't be as good as the PS3 version.
Before any disagrees, allow me to explain.
The PS3 version has been in development since 2005 and the Japanese version will be finished in 2009 ( 4 years of development). 360 development will begin after Japanese Ps3 version finishes (2009). 360 development is easier so it should take about 2 1/2 yrs to 9 m...
The Cell is only like 2x better than Xenon. They have their Pros and Cons.
The Cell is more powerful but less flexible - excels with specialized.
The Xenon is much more flexible-that's why some multiplatform games look better (Programmers use lowest common factors when programming code). Xenon is general purpose-it excels at any kind of code).
The Cell has faster RAM (3.2Ghz-256mb) so it can retrieve instructions and process and return data at 3.2Ghz.
The Xenon h...
Microsoft definitely paid them.
The main reason they're making a 360 version isn't because the 360 has a larger install base in NA, its because MS paid them. If that was the case, there would be a Ps3 version for Infinite Undiscovery since most JRPG fans are Japanese and PS3 has a bigger install base in Japan.
they dumbed down the A.I. for demo purposes.
I find your ignorance quite amusing.
The PS3 has dedicated RAM for Cell and RSX at 256mb each.
a piece of G4 anyway. Microsoft owns shares at Comcast which owns G4. Of course they are biased towards Microsoft.
same release date makes no sense. Japanese version(Ps3) will be finished before development on the 360 starts. So you're saying it's going to take the same amount of time to make a 360 games and to translate a Japanese game to English. Even if they release at the same time, the PS3 version will be better because of 4 extra years of development.
If japanese version releases in mid 09, that would mean 4 years of devolopment time for PS3 and it should take 6 months to localize the NA and EU ps3 versions.
Development time for 360 is shorter so it probably should take two years on the 360. considering development won't start on the 360 till after the Japanese Ps3 releases (probably 2009) so you're looking at a 2011 or late 2010 release date for the 360 version.
The PS3 version will be finished ( with the exception of NA and EU localization) before development on the 360 version starts.
Sony should show some RPGs during Leipzig and TGS.
I heard it from the CEO of Square Enix himself.
The Japanese version will be completed first and then development on the 360 will begin while localization for NA and EU PS3 versions begins. So you're telling it's going to take the same amount of time to translate a game from Japanese to English and to complete an RPG on the 360. You must be smoking something. Unless Square Enix delays the PS3 version purposefully, the PS3 version should be done before the 360 version. The Ps3 has bein...
game length=unlimited
with this game, your fun is limited to your imagination. So if you complain about level design, or the game is too easy or too hard, it's your own damn fault 'cause you made the level.
